When we experience salvation, our spirit undergoes an immediate and profound transformation, becoming vibrant and alive. However, our soul and mind require ongoing renewal. It is through the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit that we can undergo a metamorphosis and lead a life in accordance with Christian principles. As we draw nearer to God, the burden of sin diminishes, allowing us to live with less baggage.
