The New Testament believers received, retained and acted on God's Word. Jesus says we are to take up our cross daily. This means we do as Jesus did, praying not our own will, but God's will. A committed heart will not be shut up. We can speak boldly against sin and for Jesus because we know that sin will always destroy lives and Jesus will give life and life abundantly.
